Update Augustine Thwaite started his soda water company in Dublin in 1799 which was after Jacob Schweppe was selling his carbonated waters. His claim to be the inventor of soda water is contentious. More likely he was the first to name the carbonated waters as soda water. I will add another image of an advert by his company.
