Using bookcases as a bed frame is one easy way tocar build a bed with storage. It’s also space-saving, cheaper than a typical bed with storage and easier to disassemble and transport! Learn more about this DIY project on our site at diyprojects.
We purchased 2 of the Kura beds off Craigslist, the total for the 2 was $120.00. One of the beds came with the tent and the Star nightlight. We flipped one of them upside down and sawed off all the wood above the bed frame. Then attached the one full bed to the bottom one that was cut. We used Gorilla Glue and Carpenters screws to secure the two beds together. Our kids love their new Bunkbeds and we love the price. We live in California and for one Kura bed its $209.00 at IKEA.
