Gold Champagne foal. The champagne gene is a dominant gene that dilutes both red and black coat colors. Gold Champagne resembles palomino, Amber Champagne resembles Buckskin, classic Champagne resembles a grulla. However, in addition to coat color dilution, eyes are light-colored and skin is mottled or freckled.
